About The Position

Responsible for prompt, accurate delivery and distribution of a variety of materials including pharmaceuticals, supplies, equipment, and/or correspondence throughout Cook Children's Medical Center in accordance with department requirements. All tasks will be performed under the direct supervision the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and/or an experienced pharmacist.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent with demonstrated ability to read and write.
  • Good telephone skills.
  • Good oral communication skills.
  • General knowledge of office procedures such as filing and record keeping.

Nice To Haves

  • Technician trainee registration within 90 days of employment.
  • Technician trainee registration is active for up to two years; after this period technician registration is required by the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Timely delivery of medications.
  • Prompt, accurate delivery and distribution of a variety of materials including pharmaceuticals, supplies, equipment, and/or correspondence throughout Cook Children's Medical Center in accordance with department requirements.
  • Perform all tasks under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and/or an experienced pharmacist.
