About The Position

Residential Rehabilitation Program (RRP) services are designed for individuals with serious mental illness who have difficulty maintaining housing. Our team helps individuals obtain housing, employment, mental health services, and more. This is an opportunity to provide support for mental health treatment. You will oversee medication management for clients, train staff in medication monitoring procedures, assess for potential crisis, and implement crisis intervention actions as appropriate.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • An active, non-provisional driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle
  • Knowledge of medications, side effects, therapeutic effects, and the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Oversee medication management for clients
  • Train staff in medication monitoring procedures
  • Assess for potential crisis and implement crisis intervention actions as appropriate
  • Provide transportation to and attend clients’ medical appointments, as necessary
  • Ensure client understanding and proper follow-up of prescribed medications
  • Develop medication plans for all clients receiving services
  • Provide education and linkage to clients regarding medication and health services
  • Counsel clients on the potential side effects of medication
