Medication Technician | Same Day Pay!
About The Position
Spring Arbor of Albemarle is looking for a Medication Assistant to support our Assisted Living residents with medication administration and daily care, under the guidance of our Resident Care Director. This role involves approaching every encounter with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented way, assisting residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines, and helping residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care. The Medication Assistant will communicate closely with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care and participate in and help lead resident activities, delivering friendly, courteous service with resident satisfaction as a top priority.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Current Medication Training certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background screening
- Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience with senior adults highly preferred
- CNA or NA license/certification, in good standing (state-dependent)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or as required by your state)
- Experience with computerized resident documentation systems
