About The Position

Eventide is currently hiring for a Part-Time Day Medication Aide (MA40) at the Lincoln Care Center. The scheduled hours are from 6am-6:30pm with an every third weekend and holiday rotation, specifically on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The role requires an active, good-standing MA40 and CNA license. Eventide offers a competitive starting pay range of $19.00-$21.28 per hour for MA's, based on qualifications, experience, and location, with shift premiums and differentials available for select positions.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred

Responsibilities

Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
Assists with Senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
Prioritizes assignments, making adjustments throughout shift to meet frequently changing/ overlapping Senior/client/caregiver/TEAMember/manager needs, call lights, when necessary.
Performs work duties within the assigned work environment related to the position, as assigned by Eventide, regardless of TEAMember preference.
Follows through on the comprehensive care plan/service plan as developed for each individual senior/client.
Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding privacy by insuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is safeguarded at all times.
Prepares and administers medications and treatments, under the direction of the RN, within scope of practice as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies/procedures.
