The position involves assisting and/or administering medications as prescribed by a physician to residents, documenting all medication management related information, notifying LVN/LPN of any negative medication reactions, assisting with medication refills, and updating records as necessary.
Requirements
- AZ Caregiver Certification
- First Aid/CPR certified.
- Course work or training in medication administration.
Responsibilities
- Assist and/or administer medications as prescribed by physician to residents.
- Document all medication management related information.
- Notify LVN/LPN of any negative medication reactions.
- Assist and/or manage all medication refills.
- Update records as necessary.
