Requirements

Current 40-hour Medication Aide certification in Nebraska.
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
Use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
Be available to work every other weekend and assigned holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely provide medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
Document medication administration clearly and correctly.
Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each day.
