About The Position
CountryHouse Lincoln I, an Agemark Senior Living community specializing in memory care, is seeking a Medication Aide to provide compassionate care, build lasting relationships with residents, and help create a safe, engaging, and comforting environment. This is a part-time evening position, with approximately 3 evening shifts per week. If you have a heart for serving others, we'd love to have you on our team!
Requirements
- Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent based on state requirements).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Patient, dependable, and passionate about caring for older adults.
- Comfortable with medication documentation and basic computer skills.
- Availability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications according to physician orders while ensuring accuracy and resident safety.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.
- Observe for changes in condition, document appropriately, and communicate concerns with the nursing team.
- Develop trusting relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Help foster a welcoming, supportive community where residents feel valued and cared for.
