Medication Aide / Med Tech – Assisted Living
About The Position
Spring Arbor of Fredericksburg is looking for compassionate, dependable Medication Aides to join our Assisted Living team. As a Medication Aide, you'll support residents in our Assisted Living community with medication assistance and daily care under the direction of our Resident Care Director. You'll be a key part of their day-to-day comfort, safety, and quality of life.
Requirements
- 18+ years old (or have a valid CNA certificate)
- Current Medication Training certification required
- Clean criminal background check
- Must comply with our Drug-Free Workplace policy
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience with seniors preferred
- CNA/PCA/DSP license or certification (per state requirements), in good standing if applicable
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or as required by state
- Experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus
Responsibilities
- Greet residents, associates, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Assist with medications per state guidelines
- Support activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, mobility, incontinence care, and linens
- Coordinate closely with the Resident Services team for continuity of care
- Join or lead resident activities
- Deliver friendly, attentive, resident-first service
