About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Medication Aide Level 1 to join our team at Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, and Correctional Center located in Bonne Terre, Missouri. The Medication Aide Level 1 (MO) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).
- Insulin certification preferred.
- One year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
