As our Medication Aide, you will safely and accurately administer medications to residents/patients as directed by licensed nursing staff or physicians, under direct supervision, while adhering to protocols and promoting well-being.Every day you will prepare and administer prescribed oral, topical, and non-injectable medications, meticulously verifying the five rights. Your role includes maintaining accurate medication records, ensuring proper storage and security, and assisting with activities of daily living as needed.To be successful in this role, you will possess strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a compassionate approach. Excellent observation, documentation, and communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety and teamwork are essential. Exhibits the ability to make effective decisions based on verifiable and measurable data/criteria. Promotes positive customer relations with internal and external customers. Demonstrates respect and sensitivity to cultural/social differences in interactions with others. Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner. Demonstrates initiative and problem solving skill, using sound judgment. Assumes additional responsibilities as needed, with little or no direction, and shows initiative in assisting others within the department.

Responsibilities
