Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician, or LVN.
Minimum 5 years experience as a certified pharmacy technician, or LVN.
Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
Understanding of medication prescriptive process.
Computer software knowledge.
Proficiency in navigating electronic medical records.

Nice To Haves

Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as a liaison between Legacy clients and providers/pharmacies to minimize medication wait times.
Respond promptly to incoming prescription renewal requests within 48 hours following protocol.
Identify requests outside prescription renewal guidelines and seek assistance when needed.
Support the provider's plan for patient follow-up and continuity of care.
Proactively identify and address patients at risk of losing prescription access.
Monitor and respond to incoming prior authorization requests efficiently.
Submit prior authorizations on behalf of providers and patients, ensuring accurate documentation and updates.
Maintain precise documentation within Legacy's EMR and Pharmacy system.
Contribute to the success of the team by performing additional duties as assigned.
