Medicare Sales Field Agent - Clayton County
About The Position
Humana is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents to join their MarketPoint Career Channel Team. This is a field-based role where agents will serve their local community within a designated territory. As part of a collaborative team, agents will work under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director to deliver on Humana's strategy by educating individuals on Medicare Advantage plans and other offerings, creating meaningful connections through grassroots marketing and in-home visits, and driving self-generated sales to expand Humana's market presence. The role requires building trust, providing personalized experiences, and becoming a valued community resource.
Requirements
- Active Health Insurance License required or ability to obtain.
- Must reside in the designated local territory to effectively serve the community.
- Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes, at community-based events and engaging with the community through service, retail environment, organizations, volunteer work, or local events.
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
- First five weeks of employment and attendance are mandatory for training.
Nice To Haves
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
- Background in selling Medicare products.
- Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
- Background in supporting Value Based Care organizations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRMs.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Bilingual in English and an additional language, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.
Responsibilities
- Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, providing a personalized experience.
