Medicare Sales Field Agent - Lake Charles, LA
About The Position
Humana is seeking skilled Medicare Field Sales Agents for a field-based role in the Lake Charles, LA territory. As part of a collaborative team, you will work under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director. The role involves educating individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and other offerings, creating meaningful connections through grassroots marketing and community events, and driving self-generated sales to meet performance goals. You will engage with customers through a mix of in-person, virtual, and phone interactions, with a significant focus on face-to-face visits in prospective members’ homes.
Requirements
- Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain.
- Must reside in the designated local territory to effectively serve the community.
- Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members’ homes and at community-based events.
- Comfortable engaging with the community through service, organizations, volunteer work, or local events.
- Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, based on state requirements).
- First five weeks of employment and attendance is mandatory for training.
Nice To Haves
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
- Prior experience selling Medicare products.
- Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations to groups.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.
