The Medicare Supervisor leads the Eligibility Specialist team with a primary focus on achieving the SSDI consent rate goal, a critical driver of overall enrollments and revenue. This role is responsible for driving performance, holding teammates accountable to individual and departmental objectives, and ensuring the effective training and ongoing development of both new and existing staff. In addition to core supervisory duties, the Medicare Supervisor supports the Sales Manager by overseeing G&P lead distribution and workflow management, contributes to achieving retention goals, and assists in providing systems and workflow training for newly hired agents. Drives performance outcomes by strategically managing consent task inventory, monitoring and communicating individual results, and identifying opportunities to increase consent rate through effective use of team resources. Leads and motivates a high‑performing team of Eligibility Specialists by providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance on best practices while encouraging creative solutions to achieve goals. Maintains strong team engagement through clear communication, regular check‑ins, and consistent availability to support teammates’ questions, challenges, and development needs. Fosters a culture of accountability by setting clear expectations, communicating progress, and providing feedback on strengths and development opportunities. Ensures workload balance across all responsibilities while driving toward key SSDI consent rate goals, including timely completion of proactive outreach to Eligibility Services customers. Supports oversight of G&P lead distribution and workflow, serving as a point of escalation for cases requiring additional attention or support. Partners with the Sales Manager support departmental and individual retention goals by reviewing performance trends and identifying opportunities for improvement with team.

Requirements

  • Life & Health licensure required
  • AHIP certification required
  • 2 - 3 Years’ experience in a Medicare-focused insurance agency required
  • Maintains flexible schedule to support needs of team
