About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Class B driver to operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Shakopee, MN area. The role involves collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. This position offers a $3k sign-on bonus, with $1k paid after 30 days and $2k paid after 90 days of employment. The company is a healthcare service provider focused on safety systems and regulated waste collections for hospitals and other healthcare industry customers, aiming to reduce needlestick injuries, improve infection control, and minimize environmental impact.

Requirements

• Class B license and a clean driving record.
• Delivery experience within a 26-foot box truck.
• Driving experience in any industry involving manual handling.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence in road checks level 1 through level 3.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• On-time delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering, and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner (up to 26 ft box trucks).
• Completing deliveries according to the schedule and communicating changes or challenges.
• Loading and unloading containers.
• Prioritizing and organizing the truck per schedule and needs.
• Managing a route per leadership's direction, delivering timely, efficient, and effective service.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours, and preparing for roadside inspections.
• Performing heavy lifting.
