About The Position

The Medical Technologist position at MultiCare is a technical opportunity responsible for performing patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis, results reporting, instrument maintenance, and technical problem resolution. This role requires a service-committed, detail-oriented individual capable of complex data analysis, sound independent judgment, and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Sciences
• Certification for Medical Technologist, MLS (ASCP), or MT (ASCP), or AMT or MT (AAB)

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Medical Technology
• Specialist Certification in discipline
• Specialist Hematology,SH (ASCP), Microbiology, SM (ASCP), Specialist BldBnking,SBB (ASCP), Tech Chemistry, SC (ASCP)

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens, establish and maintain positive identification of specimens
• Determine suitability of specimen
• Acquire/prepare reagents as needed
• Perform instrument maintenance and calibration
