Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the Medical Technologist conducts clinical diagnostic testing, with a strong focus on microbiology, while maintaining quality control standards, operating laboratory instrumentation, and communicating critical findings with physicians, nursing staff, and patients. The role serves as a subject matter resource in microbiology while maintaining laboratory generalist capabilities, working independently, and providing direction to Medical Laboratory Assistants. Shared housing is provided; private housing is not available, and pets are prohibited in company-provided housing. The candidate or staffing agency initially pays airfare, which is reimbursed upon arrival at the facility. Confirmed flight details must be submitted at least one week before arrival to coordinate housing and orientation. New Employee Orientation is held Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. Airport pickup is not provided for returning travelers. Candidates may not travel until the recruitment department has verified and cleared all compliance records and credentials. Required onboarding documentation includes personal identification and contact details, three professional references, education records, professional licenses and certifications, and a completed skills/competency checklist. Candidates must also complete background and exclusion checks, a 10-panel drug screen completed within the prior 90 days, and provide the specified immunization records or positive titers, along with mask-fit documentation or medical physical clearance. Incomplete immunization or titer documentation disqualifies a candidate from placement. Candidate submissions are limited to one staffing agency; concurrent submissions through multiple agencies are automatically rejected.
