About Us - Laboratory Freeman West results over 3.53 million tests a year and issues over 550 units of blood each month Other Labs at Freeman include the Cornell Beshore Cancer Institute Lab and Freeman Neosho Laboratory Draw stations are located inside Freeman East, the Bentlage Building and the Women’s Pavilion There are over 140 employees in the Labs at Freeman and all of them are highly talented and patient-centric individuals What You'll Do Responsible for performing laboratory tests and analysis to provide data for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Requirements

• Certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist (MT) by a nationally recognized Accreditation Agency
• High Complexity Testing requirement: Earned Associate's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology. (Equivalency: 60 sem hrs w adequate course break-down AND training or experience).
• High school graduates with appropriate training who are performing high complexity testing on or before 4/25/95, will continue to qualify.
• Must meet CLIA 88 standards.
• Or if prior to 4/24/95, have graduated from a medical laboratory school that has been approved or have completed a 50-week military training course.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing laboratory tests and analysis to provide data for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
