About The Position

The Medical Technologist performs a variety of routine and complex laboratory procedures under supervision. This role utilizes standard and specialized techniques, instrumentation, and equipment on a wide range of biological specimens. The primary purpose is to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technologist is expected to exercise professional judgment to recognize, prioritize, and efficiently manage varying test requests and workload, while also assuming responsibility and accountability for the accuracy of all procedures performed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field OR Associate’s degree in related field with 4 years of laboratory experience
• ASCP or AMT certified (MLS or MT)
