Education, Experience, and Minimum Qualifications: Must meet CLIA criteria for high-complexity laboratory testing personnel Bachelor's degree in medical technology or laboratory sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology) ASCP (MT/MLS) or equivalent certification, in good standing Job Summary: The Medical Technologist works under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager, providing 24/7 laboratory services to inpatient and outpatient populations. MTs serve as generalists while performing specialized duties as needed. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, ABGs, ECGs, and delivering accurate, high-quality lab testing. Staff must be able to multitask in stressful situations, work independently, and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and hospital guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform and oversee pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards Deliver excellent customer service to patients, providers, and staff Complete documentation with accuracy and timeliness Follow detailed written and verbal instructions Contribute to a culture of Patient-Centered Care Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills Support safety, quality, and compliance standards Serve as a mentor and resource for fellow lab staff Provide direct patient care appropriate to all ages (neonates, pediatric, adult, geriatric) If this sounds like the right fit for you, apply today! Requirements
