About The Position

Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.

Performs laboratory tests relevant to the section(s) in which they are assigned including quality control testing following established criteria. In addition, performs clerical and computer related activities and phlebotomy with a degree of supervision dependent on experience and training. This individual interacts with patients of all ages.

Requirements

• NY State License Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory related area.
• One year full time or equivalent hospital experience including phlebotomy.
• Significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
• Some occupational risk
• Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
• Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
