Under general supervision, performs a wide range of laboratory tests defined as high complexity by the 1988 Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) in order to obtain data for use in medical diagnosis and treatment. Analyzes specimens, interprets and records testing results, and reports findings to designated personnel. Repeats tests as necessary to ensure accuracy and consistency of results.
