Job Summary Memorial Hermann Alvin and League City CCC seeks a PRN Medical Technologist or MLT to join our team. Position will provide support one day per week including rotating weekends. Schedule: 12 hour shifts, 6:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Must be ASCP or AMT certified. Position responsible for performing and overseeing various laboratory tests/procedures as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biological science (Equivalency Required for Foreign Education)
- Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Medical Technologist (AMT)
- Certified MLS (ASCP or ASCP-International)
- Certified CLS (ASCP)
- Certified MLS (ASCP or ASCP-International)CM or ASCP Certification Eligible
- ASCP Certification Eligible: Bachelor’s degree in biological science AND Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited MLS program within the last 5 years; or MLT(ASCP) certification and two years of full time acceptable laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory within the last four years; or CLA (ASCP) Certification and a bachelor’s degree in a biological science four years of full time acceptable experience in in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory within the last eight years; or Five years of full time acceptable clinical laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory within the last ten years
