About The Position

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Russellville, AL to recruit a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Technologist. As a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technologist, you'll perform a wide range of laboratory tests that support accurate diagnoses, treatment decisions, and exceptional patient care. Working with advanced laboratory equipment and a collaborative clinical team, you'll help ensure timely, reliable results while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

Associate's Degree in Laboratory Science from an accredited institution required
1+ year of experience as a Medical Technologist /Medical Laboratory Technologist in a hospital laboratory setting, including Blood Bank experience
Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain within the first week of employment

Nice To Haves

ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Performing laboratory testing to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
Operating and maintaining sophisticated medical equipment
Analyzing, verifying, and managing laboratory data
Maintaining quality control standards and regulatory compliance
Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver timely, accurate results
