About The Position
The Medical Technologist performs all laboratory procedures in a prompt, accurate, and reliable manner according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Associate in Science or Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology, biology, chemistry, or related science.
- Certification as Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required.
- MT (HEW) and MT(AMT) and MT(CLS) are also acceptable.
- If not certified on hire, must be certification eligible and certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Certification through ASCP preferred.
