About The Position

As a MedTech/Caregiver at Heritage Pointe, you will provide care and medical assistance to our residents, and some direction and supervision to our caregivers. Every day with our residents will look a little different, but in general, you will assist residents with showering, dressing, and toileting; accompany residents throughout the building and to events; and redirect residents who need reminders to take care of themselves or interact appropriately with others in our community. Our one-of-a-kind, nonprofit community is open to people of all backgrounds and faiths. Requirements

Pass a Live scan Background Check
Previous caregiver, med tech, medical, CNA or other relevant experience
Caregiving: 2 years (Required)
MedTech: 1 year (Required)
Senior care: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities

Provide care and medical assistance to residents.
Provide direction and supervision to caregivers.
Assist residents with showering, dressing, and toileting.
Accompany residents throughout the building and to events.
Redirect residents who need reminders to take care of themselves or interact appropriately with others in our community.
Engage with others empathetically, with patience, understanding and a positive attitude.
Multi-task and reprioritize requests effectively.
Pay attention to the details of resident medications and med management services.
Communicate with the team throughout the shift and keep everyone informed.
