About The Position
The HSS Medical Technician (Non-Exempt) position is part of the Human Resources / Health, Safety & Security department and reports to the Safety Manager. This role is based in Redlands DC and involves providing first-aid treatment, performing drug testing, maintaining injury documentation, training employees on safety protocols, and coordinating the hearing conservation program. The position requires adherence to Ashley's Core and Growth Values.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Medical Emergency Services or equivalent experience
- 3 years in emergency medicine
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification (Required)
- Confidentiality

- Excellent communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Provide first-aid treatment to ill or injured employees
- Perform drug testing following standard operating procedures
- Maintain injury documentation and conduct follow-ups
- Train employees on blood borne pathogens, First-Aid, CPR, and AED
- Coordinate and administer hearing conservation program
- Demonstrate Ashley's Core and Growth Values
