About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Supervisors, Manager or Director; performs clinical laboratory testing pursuant to established and approved protocols requiring the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility, maintains equipment and records, performs quality assurance activities related to test performance and may supervise and teach within the laboratory setting.
Requirements
- Bachelors Medical Technology Required
- Bachelors Medical Science Required or Bachelors Other Required
- Minimum 1 year Laboratory experience Preferred
- MT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist
- MT(AMT) - Medical Technologist
- MT(AAB) - Medical Technologist
- MT(HEW) - Medical Technologist
- MLS(ASCP) - Medical Laboratory Scientist
- MLS(AMT) - Medical Laboratory Scientist
- MB(ASCP) - Molecular Biologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology
- H(ASCP) - Hematology - American Society for Clinical Pathology

Responsibilities
- Maintains acceptable accuracy in patient, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency testing.
- Uses clinical/ theoretical knowledge to analyze, investigate, interpret, and report lab data.
- Practices information monitoring, investigation, resolution, and hand-off to team members.
- Contributes to the Laboratory’s Performance Improvements and inspection readiness.
- Maintains current personal training, education and practice of policies and procedures.
