Administers and documents medication accurately and according to hospital policy, following healthcare practitioner orders for various delivery methods. Conducts comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, then plans, implements, and evaluates care holistically, preparing patients for discharge. Demonstrates cultural sensitivity by utilizing appropriate communication tools and understanding how cultural factors impact patient care and collaboration within diverse populations. Maintains professional competence by engaging in growth opportunities and meeting all mandatory requirements on schedule. Accurately documents all patient care and status using the nursing process, including responses to interventions, and ensures physician orders are appropriate and executed timely. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree
  • 6 months recent, acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
  • One year of related work experience in an acute care setting.
  • Specialty certification, as appropriate to the assigned work unit.
