About The Position
Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. Candidates must have recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and be comfortable caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License (must be in hand)
- Minimum 18 Months of Recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry Experience
- Minimum 18 Months of Permanent Med/Surg Telemetry Experience
- AHA BLS Certification
- AHA ACLS Certification
Nice To Haves
- ECG Rhythm Recognition Assessment
- SafeMedicate Examination (Acceptable scores required on both assessments)
- PBDS Assessment Waived
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
