Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • RN License with the state of Arizona
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of medical/surgical acute care experience
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing

Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor patients’ vitals like blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythms, and respiration.
  • Explain test results in a way patients and their loved ones can understand.
  • Serve as a key member of the nursing team by working with doctors and other clinical specialists to closely observe patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
  • Build trust by learning new concepts and applying knowledge in real-time to provide solutions.
  • Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
  • Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients' conditions in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
  • Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
  • Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
  • Documents according to policy/procedure, standards, and guidelines.
  • Serves as an advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
