Requirements
- Associate Of Nursing Nursing
- Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty and/or charge nurse experience
- Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within six (6) months

Responsibilities
- Oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients.
- Advocate for fellow nurses and support them in reaching their full potential, aligning with department's operational goals and objectives.
- Mentor others in areas such as competency, documentation, equipment use, plan of care, National Patient Safety Goals, and participation in inservice education.
- Evaluate care given by staff, coach to improve care, and ensure standard of care is maintained.
- Provide direct patient care as needed.
- Exhibit a general understanding of the process for dealing with ethical dilemmas and understand and coordinate the process for obtaining an Ethics Consult.
- Coordinate patient flow on the unit to facilitate the provision of timely and effective care.
- Attend hospital-wide bed board meetings.
