About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for the 4 North unit. This position requires working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, providing essential care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a 13-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
- Implement and manage patient care plans while addressing individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
