About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role emphasizes comprehensive assessment, care coordination, patient monitoring, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license
Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days if relocating
BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required
Recent acute care RN experience required
Med-Surg specialty experience not required
Experience within the last 3 years , or within 5 years for candidates with extensive RN experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Strong communication, customer service, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
Physical ability to lift and move patients and equipment (up to 50 lbs)

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established clinical standards and hospital protocols
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to clinical changes
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary care teams
Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding care and treatment plans
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-volume medical-surgical unit
