Our Med-Surg units provide a dynamic setting for nurses seeking variety and clinical growth, caring for a diverse adult population with complex medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurologic conditions. Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required. Recent graduates or nurses returning to acute care are welcome.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or active Compact/Multistate license.
• BLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• High-Acuity Care: Manage “sicker than average” Med-Surg patients, including general, urology, and vascular post-surgical cases.
• Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct nursing assessments following disease-specific protocols in a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment.
• Care Coordination: Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans while supervising non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Specialized Learning: Gain experience in advanced patient monitoring and stabilization of trauma patients transitioning from critical care.
• Patient Education: Provide age- and culture-appropriate emotional support and education to patients and families.
