About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Tier 3 Surgical Technologist —a senior-level expert and mentor—to join a 585+ bed Level I Trauma Center. This role is ideal for highly experienced professionals who thrive in complex, high-risk cases and have specialized expertise in vascular hybrid environments. Tier 3 Surgical Technologists lead surgical teams across advanced specialties and ensure clinical excellence for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• 1+ years of OR Tech experience, including endovascular wire procedures
• 2 years of experience in a similar facility (Level I Trauma preferred)
• Competent in all five core areas: Robotics, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, Burn, and Vascular
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (CORT)
• Required: CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) upon hire
• Required: BLS to be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility

Responsibilities

• Expert First Scrub: Anticipate surgeon needs and manage complex instrumentation for high-risk procedures while maintaining sterile field integrity
• Specialized Vascular Lead: Perform endovascular and wire techniques in a vascular hybrid room setting
• Multidisciplinary Leadership: Serve as lead tech across Robotic, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, Burn, and Vascular Surgery
• Secondary Surgical Support: Act as second scrub when needed, assisting with sponging, suctioning, suturing, and endoscopic camera manipulation
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Technologists, modeling organizational efficiency and teamwork
