About The Position

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), internally referred to as LPN or LVN, in our Med Surg Unit. As an LPN/LVN in our Med Surg Unit, you will provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, focusing on tasks like monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with patient care. Shift’s Available : Days

Requirements

• Current and valid Alabama state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• IV certification within 30 days and maintain current
• ACLS (AHA) certification within 60 days and maintain current

• One year experience in an applicable setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services which requires technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care
• Meets the communication needs of the patient and family
