About The Position

Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Medical Surgical LPN/LVN for a PRN Days position. This is an in-person role. Raleigh General Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. The 4N department is a dynamic 44-bed medical-surgical unit serving a patient population with a blend of surgical and medical cases, with a special emphasis on renal care. The team is known for its strong sense of collaboration and is a welcoming and supportive environment, especially for new graduates. Team members gain experience with a wide range of interventions, including various lines, chest tubes, peritoneal dialysis, and telemetry patients. Patient populations served include Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, and Older Adult. Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited LPN program.
• Current LPN license in state of practice.
• BCLS required.
• Handle with Care preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Handle with Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, and Older Adult patient populations.
• Access Protected Health Information including Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, and Financial information, as well as the Complete Medical Record.
• Perform interventions including various lines, chest tubes, peritoneal dialysis, and telemetry.
• Collaborate with team members in a supportive environment.
