About The Position

Bring the best in care and caring, all while providing quality phlebotomy, EKG, and vital signs monitoring. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment in our oncology treatment center. This position is located at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. The hours are from 4pm to 12am, weekend rotations required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Completion of Nurses' Aide/Medical-Surgical Technician Program
  • Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) offered by Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) or The Board of Nephrology Examiners for Nursing Technology (BONENT) or National Nephrology Certification Organization (NNCO)
  • One Year experience in Renal Treatment Center. Other relevant acute care dialysis setting, or Medical Surgical Technician.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant certification.
  • Nurses Aide experience or EKG/Phlebotomy experience preferred
