A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) supports plasma center operations, reporting to the Plasma Center Manager. The role involves determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist works under the guidance of the Center Manager for operational matters and the Center Physician for medical issues. Familiarity with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment is expected. The role also supports environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives as guided by BioLife Medical Affairs.
