SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Medical Supply Logistics Technician to support an opportunity at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Position Overview Section We are seeking a dependable Medical Supply Logistics Technician to support medical logistics and War Reserve Materiel (WRM) operations at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and transporting medical supplies and equipment while ensuring compliance with Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD), OSHA, and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in military medical logistics, warehouse operations, and the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system, with a strong commitment to inventory accuracy, safety, and customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 12 months of experience supporting War Reserve Materiel (WRM) in a Department of Defense supply or warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with: Medical supply operations Warehouse inventory management Receiving, storage, shipping, and issue processes USAF supply procedures and documentation WRM allowance standards and inventory maintenance
  • Extensive working knowledge of the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with the ability to operate government vehicles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) standards.
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport materials in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including ANSI/ISEA-compliant steel or composite toe safety boots.
  • Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 12 months of experience working in a medical supply warehouse or military medical logistics environment.
  • Experience supporting Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) or Department of Defense medical logistics programs.
  • Familiarity with War Reserve Materiel (WRM) management.
  • Experience with government property accountability and supply documentation.
  • Current forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily medical supply and warehouse operations in accordance with established procedures and safety regulations.
  • Process supply orders, purchases, receipts, and inventory transactions using the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify shipments against receiving documentation, inspect for damage, and route materials to designated storage locations.
  • Store, stack, palletize, and organize supplies following established storage and safety procedures.
  • Prepare and issue medical supplies and equipment to authorized personnel.
  • Package and prepare materials for shipment and delivery.
  • Conduct routine physical inventories and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor medical supplies and equipment for expiration, deterioration, or damage.
  • Maintain War Reserve Materiel (WRM) inventories and ensure compliance with established allowance standards.
  • Assist with property accountability, cataloging, and inventory documentation.
  • Support management of WRM maintenance and upgrade funding as directed.
  • Safely operate government vehicles to transport medical supplies and equipment between warehouse facilities and supported organizations.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain required certifications for government vehicle and forklift operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow OSHA, AFOSH, and Air Force industrial safety standards.
  • Perform routine warehouse housekeeping including: Sweeping and mopping warehouse floors. Removing trash and debris. Breaking down cardboard and placing recyclables in designated containers.
  • Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
