Summary Serves as the primary administrative contact for medical students learning rotations and schedules. Schedules student rotations in primary care practices. Supports students in their transition from the university to the healthcare setting serving as a resource for students.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or 3-5 years of related experience.
  • 3 years Relevant Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
  • Strong writing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years Healthcare experience
  • Familiarity with LCME (Liaison Committee on Medical Education) and FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) regulations.
  • Familiarity with medical student match process.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the administration of student clerkships, rotations, schedules, and elections.
  • Oversees the planning and implementation of annual medical school recruiting events.
  • Facilitates student transitions from university to healthcare network, serving as a resource for students.
  • Supports student affairs functions relative to the medical school program, affiliated medical schools, and rotations.
  • Assists in the development of academic and student policies and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships and communications with stakeholders and customers.
  • Supports Vice Chair of Education, Administrator, and Directors.
