About The Position

The Medical Student Education Analyst develops and maintains analytical tools, reports, databases, and dashboards to support educational assessment, curricular processes, and departmental operations. This role evaluates data from multiple sources to identify gaps, improve systems, and provide guidance, training, and assistance to students, faculty, and administration while ensuring the secure handling of confidential information. Additionally, the position offers comprehensive administrative support, coordinates communications and logistics, and collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance overall departmental efficiency. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data management, computer science, statistics, mathematics, business or related fields required.
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience required.
  • Ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures.
  • Reputable data skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Business Suites (PowerBI, Azure, etc.), MS SQL Server, Tableau, R, Qualtrics, Python, etc.
  • Read, write legibly, and speak in English with professional quality.
  • Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
  • Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
  • Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
  • Collaborate and accept direction.
