Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • More than 2 years of medical staff affairs coordination/management experience OR More than 10 years of administrative assistant/clerical experience
  • A bachelor's degree may substitute for the required experience
  • Strong communication skills with medical and administrative personnel
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and Florida medical staff regulations
  • Proficiency with word processing and record management systems
  • Experience maintaining databases and confidential records

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of college or business school
  • Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) or Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through the National Association Medical Staff Services

Responsibilities
