Heartland Health Services is seeking a dependable and community-focused Mobile Health Unit Driver to support local outreach events throughout the Peoria area this spring and summer. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a side gig, supplemental income, or flexible part-time work with evening and weekend availability. This role offers more than just extra income — it’s an opportunity to be part of events that bring healthcare resources directly into the community. If you enjoy flexible work, community engagement, and being part of something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you. The Medical Services Driver provides timely and accurate distribution and dispatch of interdepartmental mail between HHS locations, storage facilities and local venders, in accordance with the Heartland Health Services (HHS) mission, strategic goals, federal and state laws and regulations, performance and outcome objectives, and accreditation standards. In addition to courier services, the driver will function as security while at community events and perform light maintenance at HHS facilities. An Illinois C class license will be required to drive the mobile unit.
