About The Position

Arcturus Healthcare is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our Med-Peds Office. The Medical Scribe will work closely with our providers to assist with clinical documentation and help ensure accurate and efficient patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a medical office environment, has strong computer and communication skills, and can accurately document information while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Previous medical scribe, medical office, healthcare, or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accompany providers during patient visits and accurately document pertinent clinical information
• Enter patient history, examination findings, assessments, and treatment plans into the electronic medical record
• Assist providers with completion of medical documentation
• Review and update patient information as directed
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and complete
• Assist with locating and organizing relevant medical information
• Communicate professionally with providers and office staff
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and office policies
• Assist with other administrative or clinical support duties as needed
