About The Position

The Medical Science Liaison will lead scientific engagement with Medical Experts (MEs), implement clinical and educational strategies, and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries. This role involves educating MEs on medical/scientific information, identifying and mapping MEs and Key Accounts, and developing/executing ME engagement plans aligned with country strategy. The position also supports Novartis clinical research programs, optimizes trial execution, and provides scientific educational support to study sites. Additionally, the MSL will facilitate the Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) process, serve as a medical resource to field matrix colleagues, and report technical complaints/adverse events within 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific engagement with Medical Experts (MEs).
• Implement clinical and educational strategies.
• Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from MEs.
• Ensure appropriate identification/mapping of MEs/Key Accounts.
• Develop and execute ME engagement plans aligned with country strategy.
• Support Novartis clinical research programs and optimize trial execution.
• Provide scientific educational support to potential and actual study sites.
• Facilitate Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT) process upon investigator request.
• Serve as a medical resource to field matrix colleagues.
• Report technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt.
• Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable).
