About The Position

BillionToOne is seeking a field-based Medical Science Liaison with scientific and clinical expertise in prenatal genetic testing. The role provides medical and scientific support for the company’s marketed UNITY™ Complete product and serves as a key member of the Medical Affairs team. It is remote and candidates must be based in Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Texas. The ideal candidate can travel up to 70% nationwide; travel percentage varies by geography.

The MSL builds relationships with healthcare providers and other medical and scientific partners through scientific exchange. The role also supports the commercial team with information that promotes the value and appropriate use of BillionToOne products, responds to provider inquiries with focused and balanced clinical and scientific information, and provides education on product and service differentiation. The MSL contributes to provider and patient educational materials and follows internal processes and regulatory and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling.
• Board certification from ABGC or ABMG.
• 3–5 years of prenatal clinical and/or industry experience in a related field.
• Expertise discussing scientific content and context with multiple audiences.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel up to 70%; percentage varies by geography.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key liaison to healthcare providers.
• Serve as a key member of the BillionToOne Medical Affairs team.
• Develop relationships through scientific exchange with medical and scientific partners.
• Support the commercial team by providing information that enhances the value and appropriate use of BillionToOne products.
• Respond to healthcare provider inquiries with focused and balanced clinical and scientific information supporting appropriate use of BillionToOne’s prenatal products.
• Educate providers on the clinical differentiation of BillionToOne’s products and services.
• Contribute to the development of provider and patient educational products.
• Adhere to internal standard processes and regulatory and compliance requirements.
