About The Position

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Neurology will engage in scientific exchange with expert healthcare professionals as part of the Medical Affairs team. This role involves participating in Medical Affairs project assignments, communicating complex scientific concepts effectively to diverse audiences, and contributing to key department functions and inter-departmental initiatives. The position requires a doctoral degree and prior experience in a neurology-related field, with a preference for pharmaceutical industry experience in multiple sclerosis. Immunology experience is considered a plus. Previous experience as an MSL or in Medical Affairs is strongly preferred, as is experience in clinical research and/or direct patient care. The ideal candidate will possess exemplary written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the demonstrated ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. Significant travel (75%) is expected, requiring easy access to a major metropolitan airport. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree required (PhD, PharmD, MD)
  • Prior experience in neurology-related field required.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a variety of audience types
  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships with others
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt within a dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel (75%) and easy access to a major metropolitan airport
