About The Position

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Cardiovascular, you will serve as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals across Ontario. Through meaningful, peer-to-peer engagement, you will contribute to advancing clinical understanding, supporting evidence-based practice, and ultimately improving patient outcomes. Requirements

  • Advanced degree required: MD, PharmD, or PhD Or a scientific degree with relevant pharmaceutical or clinical experience
  • Experience in a scientific, clinical, or medical affairs environment
  • Strong ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific data into meaningful insights
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial design and research processes
  • Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system, including access environment and stakeholder dynamics
  • Familiarity with health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) core concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly and comprehensively learn new scientific areas and adapt to evolving environments
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a field-based role
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Fluency in English required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cardiovascular disease strongly preferred
  • Experience in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is an asset
  • French is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, peer-to-peer relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs) and healthcare professionals
  • Deliver high-quality scientific exchange through in-person and virtual interactions
  • Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries with accurate, balanced, and evidence-based information
  • Maintain deep and up-to-date knowledge of the therapeutic landscape and emerging data
  • Gather meaningful field insights and translate them into actionable recommendations
  • Contribute to the development and execution of medical strategies and plans
  • Identify unmet needs and emerging trends to inform future priorities
  • Partner with internal teams across Medical, Market Access, and other functions
  • Provide scientific expertise and contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing
  • Support the execution of key medical initiatives and projects
  • Support clinical trials and Non-Interventional Research (NIR) activities, including site identification and feasibility
  • Contribute insights to clinical development based on field engagement
  • Partner with investigators and support compliance with regulatory and pharmacovigilance requirements
